Hi, I’m Helen – a graphic designer and artist creating from the deep south of New Zealand.
Based in Invercargill, I spend most of my time in the design studio at Elm Marketing, branding, print media, ads, and signage. I also enjoy taking on freelance projects from home.
When I’m not designing, I love exploring other creative outlets like drawing, painting, relief printmaking, and, most recently, stained glass—my latest passion. After a week behind the computer screen, it just feels good to create something with my hands—especially a traditional craft. I’m a bit sentimental and and am intrigued with things of the past. My work is inspired by nature, food, creatures, and the beauty in everyday moments, which is reflected in my eclectic portfolio. I love experimenting with different styles and subjects to keep things fresh and exciting, and combining traditional art with modern digital design, making the process even more rewarding.
